Bump to Baby: Kim, Joel & Baby Isabelle

There’s something extra special about documenting the full story — from belly to baby, bump to arms. I had the absolute joy of capturing that beautiful transition for Kim and Joel as they welcomed their daughter, sweet little Isabelle.

Kim’s maternity session? A total vibe. She embraced every version of herself — starting in a soft, flowy gown, then switching things up with a curve-hugging dress, denim + an open white shirt, and finally, just bare skin and hands around her bump. Bold. Raw. Real. Basically, a dream session. We created so many looks that felt so her, and that’s the magic.

Then baby Isabelle arrived and we shifted gears into the newborn session. Calm, cosy, and low-key. We kept it simple in their bedroom: just cuddles, quiet moments, and the kind of love that doesn’t need staging. Joel’s gentle hands. Kim’s sleepy snuggles. The kind of images you’ll never, ever regret having.
